The brief

A logo for a data analytics platform. It should feel smart, dynamic and connected.

The idea

A loom turns loose threads into strong fabric; Loomfield does the same with data. The symbol shows two threads of data braiding together as they rise — from a first data point to a glowing point of insight. The upward diagonal says growth, the braid says connection, and the glowing dot says: here is the answer.

Design direction

Smart, dynamic, connected. Deep ink with a violet-to-cyan gradient that glows on screen. A techy grotesque wordmark with a monospace for numbers and code.

Typography

Space Grotesk (Primary typeface) — techy grotesque with character — wordmark, headlines, product UI. Free Google Font, SIL Open Font License.
IBM Plex Mono (Data typeface) — monospace for numbers and code — descriptor, data labels, code. Free Google Font, SIL Open Font License.
